Dr. Xiangyang Li

Biography

Xiangyang Li is an Associate Teaching Professor and the Training Director at the Johns Hopkins University Information Security Institute. He has extensive experience in the fields of computer security, user modeling, and intelligent systems. His research interests are primarily focused on security intelligence analysis, human factors in information security, user modeling, and simulation modeling. Over the years, Dr. Li has contributed to numerous projects funded by organizations including the National Science Foundation, National Security Agency, Office of Naval Research, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Air Force Research Laboratory, and collaborations with the University of Michigan and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His involvement in advising students, designing and directing student projects, and developing curricula showcases his commitment to education in the field of cybersecurity. Dr. Li received his Ph.D. from Arizona State University, further solidifying his expertise in knowledge discovery engineering and its applications in intelligent systems.
