Biography

Xianjin Dai is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford University, certified by the American Board of Radiology as a Medical Physicist. He completed a CAMPEP-accredited Therapeutic Medical Physics residency at Emory University and earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida. His research focuses on developing and translating novel biomedical imaging techniques to enhance the diagnosis, management, and treatment of cancer diseases. His research interests include artificial intelligence in medicine, therapeutic physics, medical image analysis, multimodal imaging, biomedical optics, photoacoustic imaging, ultrasound imaging, and optical coherence tomography. He has received several awards, including the DOD Prostate Cancer Research Program Early Investigator Research Award and the AAPM Research Seed Funding Grant. Additionally, he serves as an Associate Editor for the Medical Physics Journal and is a member of multiple professional organizations.
