Biography

Xiao-Ru Yang completed residency training in Medical Genetics and Genomics at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine. He is the inaugural recipient of Dr. Oksana Suchowersky and Dr. Chris Eagle Fellowship Award, which provided him with the opportunity to pursue an additional year of specialty training in Clinical Genomics and Neurogenetics. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, he is excited to return to the coast as a Clinical Geneticist with the Vancouver Island Medical Genetics team in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.
