Biography

Xiaodi Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Brown University with a specialized focus on perinatal brain injury. He earned his M.D. from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University in China and subsequently received a Master's degree in Neurobiology and a Ph.D. in Human Biology from Philipps University of Marburg in Germany. Over his fourteen-year research career, he has expertise in biomedical research, drug discovery, pharmacology, cell signaling, and molecular cell biology. Dr. Chen has received notable funding for his research initiatives, including grants from the National Institutes of Health and other agencies, and actively contributes to the academic community as an NIH grant reviewer and editorial board member for several scientific journals.
