Biography

Xiaofan (Fred) Jiang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University. He received his B.Sc. (2004) and M.Sc. (2007) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as his Ph.D. (2010) in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. Before joining the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), he worked as a Senior Staff Researcher and Director of Analytics at Intel Labs China. Dr. Jiang has been awarded the NSF Graduate Fellowship, the Vodafone-US Foundation Fellowship, and the NSF CAREER Award.
