Biography

Dr. Xiaojuan Sun is an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics (Research) at Brown University. She holds an M.D. from Guiyang Medical College in China and an M.S. as well as a Ph.D. from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. Dr. Sun's work aims to identify specific molecular targets, including genes and microRNAs, that are dysregulated in chondrosarcoma, with a focus on potential translational therapeutics to inhibit the growth, angiogenesis, and metastasis of this tumor type.
