Xiaoke Liu is an Associate Professor at Linköping University. His research mainly focuses on luminescent materials for electronic and photonic applications, particularly light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Liu received his PhD degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014 and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at City University of Hong Kong. In 2016, he joined Linköping University as a VINNMER Fellow and later became an Assistant Professor in 2018. With the title of Docent granted in 2022, he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2023. Liu has also been a visiting postdoc at the University of Cambridge and a visiting scholar at Nanyang Technological University. His projects have been funded by various grants from organizations such as Vinnova and the Swedish Research Council. Liu's research includes the development of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and perovskite LEDs, focusing on the fundamental understanding and application of exciplex materials for high-efficiency OLEDs. He is recognized as an Outstanding Reviewer for Materials Horizons and has contributed extensively to the field with publications in high-impact journals such as Nature Materials and Advanced Materials.
