Biography

Xiaoming Hu received his B.S. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1983, and both his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Arizona State University in 1986 and 1989, respectively. He has served as a research assistant at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1983 to 1984. Between 1989 and 1990, he was a Gustafsson Postdoctoral Fellow at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Currently, he is a professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His main research interests encompass multi-agent systems, nonlinear feedback stabilization, nonlinear observer design, and sensing active perception.
