Biography

Xiaosi Gu is a Professor of Psychiatry and Biomedical Informatics & Data Science at Yale School of Medicine, where he also serves as the Director of the Computational Psychiatry Unit. He received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed postdoctoral training at Virginia Tech and the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at University College London. Dr. Gu has published widely in leading scientific journals and has held prominent academic roles within various scientific societies, including Co-Director of the Society for Computational Psychiatry. He is also dedicated to mental health awareness and has spoken at public forums, including a TEDx talk in 2018.
