Biography

Prof. Xin Li received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2005. He also holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electronics Engineering from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Following his doctoral studies, Prof. Li co-founded Xigmix Inc. to commercialize his Ph.D. research and served as the Chief Technical Officer until the company was acquired by Extreme DA in 2007. In 2009, he became the Assistant Director for the FCRP Focus Research Center Circuit & System Solutions (C2S2), working on next-generation integrated circuit design challenges with major U.S. research universities. Prof. Li has held multiple editorial positions for prominent engineering journals and has been actively involved in establishing technical committees for IEEE and ACM. His research focuses on integrated circuits and signal processing data analytics, targeting advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications. He has received several prestigious awards, including the NSF Faculty Early Career Development Award and multiple IEEE Paper Awards. Prof. Li is also a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
