Biography

Xing Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Tsinghua University in 2011 and completed both his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Before joining Penn State, he served as a postdoctoral research associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2017 to 2019. He has been recognized with the Distinguished Early Career Program Award from the U.S. Department of Energy in 2023.
