Biography

Xiumei Li earned her PhD from Drexel University and joined the Asper School of Business Faculty in 2020. Her current research focuses on understanding how entrepreneurs mobilize resources, such as venture capitalists and users, to pursue opportunities in high-tech industries and digital platforms. Her work has been published in the Journal of Business Venturing and included in the Academy of Management Paper Proceedings. Dr. Li currently serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Business Venturing and the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and has been an active reviewer for the Academy of Management annual conference since 2015. Her research contributes to the understanding of resource mobilization and its impact on entrepreneurial success in dynamic markets.
