Biography

Xiyu Peng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University. His research interests lie at the interface of statistics and biomedical sciences, with a particular focus on genomics, proteomics, and immuno-oncology. His methodological research is mainly inspired by the collaborative research challenges that arise from real data analysis, leading to the development of novel computational statistical methods that are heavily demanded in the field. Prior to joining Texas A&M University, Xiyu received extensive postdoctoral training at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He obtained his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Statistics from Iowa State University.
