Biography

Xueda Wen is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017. His research interests encompass theoretical physics, with a focus on non-equilibrium physics, quantum many-body systems, and topological phases in general dimensions. He has also explored the connections between quantum many-body physics and quantum information science. Prior to his current position, he was a Moore Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Simons Collaboration Fellow at Harvard University and CU Boulder. His work is recognized for contributing to advancements in the understanding of complex quantum systems.
