Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Xuesong Li. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Xuesong Li is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at CSIRO, focusing on machine learning approaches for object detection. He previously worked at Huawei in Shanghai, China, where he advanced engineering research in autonomous driving, specifically targeting 3D object detection using LiDAR point clouds. He received his Ph.D. degree in robotics from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney in 2020, with a doctoral thesis centered on object detection for intelligent robots. His current research interests include dynamic and static scene reconstruction using Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) and 3D Geometrical Structures, object generation and editing, 3D reconstruction, and various aspects of object detection. Xuesong is also involved in recruiting visiting PhD and master’s students for collaborative projects.
