Dr. Yael Wolinsky Nahmias

Biography

Yael Wolinsky-Nahmias is a Professor of Practice in Environmental Studies at the University of Southern California. With a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago, Dr. Wolinsky-Nahmias has authored numerous articles and book chapters focusing on environmental politics, climate change, and the role of non-governmental organizations. She has published two significant books: "Changing Climate Politics: U.S. Policies Civic Action" and "Models, Numbers, Cases: Methods Studying International Relations." Her expertise extends to evaluating public attitudes towards climate change and analyzing high-impact internship programs in the social sciences. In addition to her role at USC, she has served as a Senior Lecturer at Northwestern University and directed the Environmental Policy Culture Program. Dr. Wolinsky-Nahmias is active in various professional associations and has presented her research at national conferences. She has been a reviewer for several prominent publications in the field, contributing to the discourse on global environmental issues and political psychology.
