Biography

Yagan Pillay is an Associate Professor of General Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan, currently leading a division in Prince Albert. He completed his undergraduate education in South Africa and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) from Kasturba Medical College in India. Pillay's surgical training includes a residency at Nelson Mandela Medical School and fellowship training in South Africa and Canada. His practice focuses on rural surgery, endoscopy, and teaching undergraduate medical students and surgical residents.
