Biography

Yair Shenfeld works in high-dimensional probability interactions analysis, geometry, and mathematical physics. His current research interests include optimal transport, stochastic analysis, convex geometry, and renormalization group methods. Prior to joining Brown University, he was an Instructor for the C.L.E. Moore program and a National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellow in the Mathematics department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Yair completed his PhD in Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University and received his B.Sc. in Mathematics from MIT. He teaches courses including APMA 2630 - Theory of Probability and APMA 2640 - Theory of Probability II.
