Biography

Yan-Shing joined the Department of Child and Family Health as a lecturer in 2016. He obtained his Master's and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge and also worked on the Cambridge Review of Primary Education in England. Prior to joining King's in 2013, he worked as a researcher in the higher education and voluntary sectors. His background includes early childhood and primary education. He collaborates with international partners in low and middle-income countries, conducting systematic reviews and primary research on infant feeding and interventions that support families and women with complex medical and social needs. His expertise encompasses co-design and participatory research, cross-cultural comparative studies, and intervention service evaluation.
