Dr. Yan Lee

Biography

Yan Lee, MD, is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her otolaryngology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and undertook a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Lee is double board-certified in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Her clinical focus includes aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries, such as cosmetic rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, eyelid surgery, and the management of facial nerve paralysis. Dr. Lee has a keen interest in researching biomarkers related to the aging process and optimizing facial fracture management. She actively participates in educating residents and medical students, sharing her extensive knowledge and expertise in her field. Through her practice, she aims to help patients regain confidence and improve their quality of life following disfiguring injuries or congenital deformities. Dr. Lee utilizes innovative techniques, including 3D printing for reconstructive procedures, to enhance surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
