Biography

Yang Liu is a Senior Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Engineering at Linköping University, Sweden. He holds both an M.Sc. (Tech.) in Telecommunications Engineering and a D.Sc. (Tech.) in Industrial Management from the University of Vaasa, Finland, attained in 2005 and 2010, respectively. With over 140 publications in Web Science, Liu has been recognized as one of the top authors in areas such as big data analytics in manufacturing and Industry 4.0-driven operations. He ranks among the top 2% scientists in Engineering and Technology according to the Stanford-Elsevier list. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of Cleaner Engineering Technology and held editorial positions in several prestigious journals, contributing to the advancement of his field through extensive peer review and expert evaluations for international grants.
