Dr. Yang Zhou

Biography

Dr. Yang Zhou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University. Dr. Zhou earned his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in 2019. He also holds a Master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana, which he completed in 2015, and a Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering from Southeast University in Nanjing, China, awarded in 2013. His research interests primarily encompass advanced infrastructure materials, sustainable construction practices, and the integration of technology in civil engineering designs. Dr. Zhou is committed to enhancing the engineering field through innovative research and fostering an inclusive learning environment for his students. He is actively involved in peer-reviewed publication processes and has contributed to multiple projects within the civil engineering domain. His academic trajectory reflects a dedication to both practical applications and theoretical advancements in engineering.
