Biography

Yannis Theocharis is a Professor of Digital Governance at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His research focuses on political behavior, particularly the impact of digital media on political participation, communication, governance, and online uncivil behavior. He employs survey, experimental, and computational methods to understand the changing political information environment and aims to empower users while enabling new forms of political participation.
