Biography

Yanxia obtained her Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology in China. After completing her Ph.D. study, she started her academic career as a Lecturer at Donghua University in Shanghai. Prior to joining the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Yanxia worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her research interests prominently include Natural Language Processing, Information Extraction, and Scholarly Document Processing. Throughout her career, she has shown a strong passion for teaching and is enthusiastic about extending her career in the Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) domain.
