Biography

Yanyuan Ma is a Professor of Statistics at Penn State University. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1999, following a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Beijing University in 1994. His research focuses on several areas, including measurement error models, dimension reduction, mixed sample problems, and latent variable models.
