Biography

Yaoyao Jia is an Associate Professor and Fellow of the Silicon Laboratories Endowed Chair in the Chandra Family Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in August 2019. Prior to her current role, Dr. Jia served as an Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University from August 2019 to August 2021. Her research interests primarily include analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits, power-management integrated circuits, system integration, energy harvesting, implantable wearable biomedical devices, and neural interface devices. Dr. Jia also serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems (TBioCAS) and participates in the Technical Program Committee for the IEEE Biomedical Circuits and Systems Conference (BioCAS) and the IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC).
