Biography

Yaron Nili is a Professor at Duke University School of Law, specializing in corporate law and securities law. His research focuses on traditional corporate governance, the roles and functions of boards of directors, shareholder activism, hedge funds, and private equity. Additionally, Nili worked as a corporate associate at Simpson Thacher in New York, representing financial institutions and companies in commercial lending transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and securities. Previously, he held a position as a professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he taught courses in corporate and securities law. His recent publications are forthcoming in prestigious law journals, including Cornell Law Review and Yale Law Journal.
