Biography

Yash Vardhan Pant is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo. His research focuses on developing robust and reliable autonomous systems, incorporating concepts from Control Theory, Formal Methods, Machine Learning, and Optimization. Dr. Pant earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019, where he also received the Richard K. Dentel Memorial Award for his research in Urban Transportation. Prior to his position at the University of Waterloo, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley.
