Biography

Yasmin Khan is a Professor of Modern History at the University of Oxford, specializing in the history of British India, the British Empire, and South Asian decolonization. Her notable works include the acclaimed book 'The Great Partition: Making India Pakistan', which won the Gladstone Prize from the Royal Historical Society. She has held research positions at esteemed institutions, including previous lectureships at the University of Edinburgh and Royal Holloway, University of London, and has received funding from the British Academy, Arts Humanities Research Council, and the Leverhulme Trust.
