Dr. Yeuen Kim

Biography

Yeuen Kim is a Clinical Associate Professor at Vaden Health Center, specializing in internal medicine with a focus on population health and medical humanities. With extensive experience working with vulnerable populations in urban settings, Dr. Kim has contributed significantly to primary care and medical outreach. He completed his education at Brown University's Program in Liberal Medical Education and pursued his residency at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Dr. Kim has a keen interest in evaluating and improving healthcare delivery through innovative approaches, including art gallery-based workshops to enhance observation and communication skills among healthcare providers. He has actively participated in public health initiatives in Santa Clara County, focusing on reducing mortality and improving health during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly within congregate living facilities. As a faculty member, he co-leads narrative medicine workshops for students and residents. Dr. Kim is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has served on various boards, including the Hamlin School Alumni Association and the Brown Medical Alumni Association.
