Biography

Yi Zhou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Computer Engineering from Ohio State University in 2018 and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2013. His research focuses on nonconvex distributed optimization and reinforcement learning, particularly exploring statistical learning theory. Zhou has received several honors, including the Faculty Early CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation in 2023 and the Spotlight Paper Award at NeurIPS in 2018.
