Biography

Yichi Zhang received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shenyang Agricultural University in 2017, followed by an M.S. degree in Power Electronics from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2021. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Power Electronics at Aalborg University, expected to be conferred in 2024. Yichi is also a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Energy at Aalborg University. His research interests encompass failure mechanism analysis, physics-informed data-driven degradation modeling, thermal modeling, and condition monitoring of semiconductor switches in power electronics. He is a Visiting Researcher at RWTH Aachen in Germany from March to June 2024, focusing on advanced topics in the field of power electronics.
