Biography

Yiming Deng is a Professor and the Associate Chair of Graduate Studies in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan State University. His expertise lies in sensors and sensing systems, particularly in nondestructive evaluation (NDE) systems and structural health monitoring (SHM). Over the years, he has received several accolades including the ASNT Fellowship Award in 2021 and various poster and paper awards for his contributions to the field of nondestructive testing and evaluation.
