Biography

Yin Yang is an Honorary Research Associate at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford. His research interests include international energy infrastructure investment, real assets investment, clean energy, economic cycles, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, as well as sustainability. In addition to his role at the University, he works as a senior researcher at the Energy Development Research Institute, China Southern Power Grid. Yin is dedicated to promoting international collaboration in energy infrastructure-related areas and has co-founded the Oxford International Infrastructure Consortium (OXIIC). He has organized successful international conferences in support of the Smith School ECI, inviting numerous leading experts from various prestigious organizations including the World Bank, World Economic Forum, and Harvard University, among others. Yin obtained his DPhil in Economic Geography from the University of Oxford in 2016 and has experience in London’s energy infrastructure real estate investments.
