Biography

Ying S. Wang is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, where she serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Postdoctoral Periodontics Program. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Wang received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, in 2014. She completed an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery and subsequently spent several years in private general practice in Hiroshima, Japan. Dr. Wang pursued further education and obtained her Master of Science in Periodontics in 2021 from Ohio State University, where she was the Chief Periodontal Resident. Her research interests focus on soft tissue surgical procedures related to dental implants and include involvement in clinical trials and systematic reviews.
