Biography

Yining Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His current research focuses on developing new methods for statistical problems, specifically in change-point detection and nonparametric estimation. He has a keen interest in understanding the computational aspects of statistical methods. Yining completed his PhD in Statistics in 2014 at the University of Cambridge.
