Biography

Yiying Tong is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. He joined MSU after working as a postdoctoral scholar at Caltech. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 2004. His research primarily focuses on discrete geometric modeling, physically-based simulation and animation, and discrete differential geometry.
