Dr. Yoel Inbar

Biography

Yoel Inbar studies how intuitions and emotions—particularly disgust—affect social, political, and moral beliefs. His earliest work focused on the differences in the experience of disgust and how they relate to social and political attitudes. He has studied the varied ways that moral intuitions guide beliefs and judgments, especially in social and political domains. Recently, he has become interested in understanding the acceptance and rejection of new technologies, including genetic engineering.
