Dr. Yohannes Haile

Biography

Yohannes Haile is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State Behrend University with a focus on management and advanced manufacturing methods. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from Case Western Reserve University, where he specialized in designing sustainable systems. With 22 years of industry experience, he brings substantial expertise in innovation, new product and process development, systems controls, energy engineering, and entrepreneurship. His research interests include strategic management, business model and technological innovations, socio-technological paradigm shifts, cyber-physical-biological systems, and transition management. Haile's academic journey also includes an MBA from Bowling Green State University, an MS in Energy Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. He is committed to fostering the development of sustainable systems and advancing knowledge in the field of management.
