Biography

Yolanda Abel is an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, where she specializes in advanced studies in education. She is a faculty affiliate at the Center for Social Organization of Schools, the Center for Safe and Healthy Schools, and the Center for Africana Studies. Her academic contributions have been published in various journals, including the American Educational Research Journal and the Journal of Negro Education.
