Biography

Yonca Korkmaz Ceyhan joined the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics in 2013 as a clinical associate professor. She holds a doctorate in Operative Dentistry and Dental Materials and is actively involved in teaching courses that range from dental anatomy to operative dentistry esthetics. With 13 years of experience in academic positions, she has established herself as an investigator and has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers, primarily focused on dental materials. In 2004, she received the Kuraray Young Investigator Award for her contributions to the field. Dr. Ceyhan continues to engage in active peer-reviewed publications and serves as both an author and reviewer for various academic journals.
