Yong Lak Joo is the BP Amoco/H. Laurance Fuller Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University. He received his B.S. degree from Seoul National University in Korea in 1989, followed by an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University in 1990 and 1993 respectively.
