Biography

Yonglin Pu is a board-certified nuclear radiologist with extensive experience in metabolic tumor imaging and nuclear medicine. He has contributed to over 60 original peer-reviewed scientific papers and has served on the editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Cancer Research. His research primarily focuses on the quantification of FDG PET/CT imaging and its impact on the long-term outcomes of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). As a principal investigator for the NIH (NCI) funded R21 project, he is developing a new PET volumetric prognostic staging system for NSCLC. His previous education includes a medical degree from Beijing Medical University and a PhD in Radiology. Over the years, he has also received multiple awards, including the 2016 Cited Paper Award from the European Association of Nuclear Medicine. His interests lie in brain functional imaging and computer-aided diagnosis, as well as advancements in treatment methodologies for common forms of lung cancer.
