Dr. Yongluan Zhou

Biography

Yongluan Zhou is a Professor at the University of Copenhagen, where he co-leads the Data Management Systems Lab. He has a strong academic background in Computer Science, having obtained his Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore. Prior to his current position, he served as an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark and held a postdoctoral position at ETH Zürich. His research interests are mainly in the fields of Database Systems and Distributed Systems, with recent focus areas including event-driven systems, scalable stream processing, and big graph analysis. Zhou has published over 60 research articles in prestigious international journals and conference proceedings, showcasing his contribution to the field of computer science. He teaches courses in Advanced Computer Systems, Big Data Systems, and Reactive and Event-Based Systems. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Zhou is actively involved in several academic committees and has participated in numerous external collaborations internationally, further enhancing his research impact.
