Biography

Youenn Kervennic, originally from France, earned his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary French Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997, with a dissertation titled "Le Pays bigouden: création et évolution de l'image d'une région". He has a strong focus on teaching language classes that emphasize culture and civilization, along with extensive travel experiences. Kervennic is the author of the novel "L'appel de la mer", which received recognition from the French "Académie de Marine".
