Biography

Young L. Kim is a Professor at the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University, and both a Master's degree and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. His research has focused on various aspects of biophotonics and biomedical optics, including understanding light propagation in biological tissue, and the application of optical techniques for early cancer diagnosis.
