Dr. Young Lee

Biography

Young Mi Lee is a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Obstetrical Ultrasound at NYU Langone Health, specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She focuses on high-risk obstetrics care for pregnant women, particularly concerning fetal anomalies, congenital heart disease, and multiple gestations. Dr. Lee's clinical interests include prenatal ultrasound and fetal evaluations throughout pregnancy. She graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Molecular Biology and earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She completed post-doctoral training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia University. Throughout her career, she has received numerous teaching awards for her dedication to medical education and mentorship of students and residents. Dr. Lee performs a variety of prenatal diagnostic procedures, including chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis, and oversees detailed obstetric ultrasounds and sonographic screenings. She is committed to providing the highest standard of care in maternal-fetal health.
