Biography

Youngsoo Kim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Regina. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management in Manila, Philippines. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Korea University in Seoul. Dr. Kim teaches courses such as Introduction to Finance, Finance: Theory & Application, and International Financial Management, among others. His research interests include politics finance, market microstructure, corporate finance, and investments. In addition to his academic duties, Dr. Kim is an active member of the investment committee at UR Investing and serves as the Treasurer for the University of Regina Faculty Association.
