Dr. Youssef Karam

Biography

Youssef Karam is a Canadian board-certified neurosurgeon with a specific interest in spine surgery. His practice encompasses general adult neurosurgical pathologies, focusing on adult spine conditions, including degenerative spinal diseases, spinal tumors, trauma, infections, and craniovertebral junction pathologies. He completed a complex spine surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa and a minimally invasive spine fellowship at Northwestern University. Dr. Karam has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, adult spinal deformity, brain and spinal trauma, spinal tumors, spinal infections, and craniovertebral junction pathologies. His areas of expertise also include spine biomechanics, contributing to advancements in the field of neurosurgery and improving patient outcomes.
