Professor Yu-Chong Tai's research applies Semiconductor, MEMS, and NEMS technologies to medical applications. He established the Caltech MEMS Laboratory, an 8,000-square-foot facility dedicated to medical device development, which includes a clean-room lab, CAD lab, measurement/test/metrology lab, and biological lab.
